Catherine Bolton

Catherine Bolton has more than 30 years experience in the public relations and communications industry.  Prior to returning to northeast Pennsylvania where she served as project director for Wall Street West, Catherine was the president and chief operating officer for the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).  At PRSA, Catherine was an advocate for the public relations profession and a frequent speaker on crisis communications and planning.

Catherine was instrumental in the restructuring of the 30,000 PRSA-member organization during her tenure and also was responsible for the re-branding and financial turnaround of the Society, and its many related products, including: The Strategist and Tactics, the PRSA website, and the organization’s professional programming initiatives.  She also was a founding board member of The Global Alliance of Communication and Public Relations.

Previous to her PRSA association, Catherine served as a vice president and director of Worldwide Communication Programs for International Copper, a marketing organization for the copper industry.  There she established a worldwide public relations network and marketing communication programs to encourage the use of copper products and responded to questions of sustainability and health regulations relating to copper in the environment.

Additionally, she held various directorial roles at Akzo Nobel Salt, WNET Public Television, and The Princess Grace Foundation.  Catherine began her PR career at Six Flags Corporation, where, as the national manager of public relations, she managed the company’s first public relations office in Manhattan and was responsible for publicity for all Six Flags properties.

Mary Kay Warner

Mary Kay Warner’s experience providing public relations, advertising, and marketing communications services spans more than 30 years assisting clients in the communications, architectural, industrial, information technology, manufacturing, government, and education industries achieve their communication objectives with internal, external, and constituent audiences. The list of clients with whom Mary Kay has been associated include: International Salt, Diversified Information Technologies, Akzo Nobel Salt, American Institute of Architects, AT&T, Cahners Publishing, Owens-Corning Fiberglas, and, the U. S. Army, among others.

Mary Kay’s discipline in the public relations, advertising, and marketing communications industry is derived initially from her 14-year association with Burson-Marsteller, one of the country’s foremost public relations firms, where she was responsible for the successful development and execution of numerous new product introductions, media relations campaigns and tours, targeted direct-mail marketing campaigns, consumer loyalty programs, and, special events, all designed to achieve each respective clients’ communication objectives.  Mary Kay’s ability to craft copy for press releases, collateral materials, and articles for industry periodicals, earned her a position as assistant editorial director at Burson-Marsteller.

Mary Kay continued applying these communication disciplines with International Salt, the leading supplier of ice-melt products on the U.S. East Coast.  She also was associated with Akzo Nobel Salt, one of the country’s leading commercial, chemical, and industrial salt producers, where she was responsible for implementing various strategies to promote the utilization of the company’s products and also assisted with the development and implementation of crisis communication programs at the company’s ten production facilities. Her association with Diversified Information Technologies provided Mary Kay with the opportunity to develop and implement numerous employee, community service, and targeted customer-based communication and business development initiatives, elevating the company’s overall perception while generating substantial revenue growth.

Kerrie Gilbert

Kerrie Gilbert’s graphic designs have graced the covers of corporate annual reports and have been utilized by major agencies as they helped create brand identities for businesses small and large.  Kerrie served as co-creative director for Paolin & Sweeney, an advertising/public relations firm in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.  While there, she managed the agency’s art department as well as all design projects. Clients included: Motorola, A.C. Orleans Builders, United States Tennis Association (USTA), Midlantic Bank, and Tretorn USA.  Kerrie began her career in Los Angeles, freelancing for agencies such as Foote, Cone and Belding, Chiat/Day and Georgopolous/Imada Design.

After a decade of experience in the advertising and graphic design industry, Kerrie Gilbert founded Big Fish Design, a communications firm specializing in graphic design, corporate identity and advertising.  Her clients include:  Fidelity Bank, Buck Hill Falls, The Allergy Center of Delta Medix and Delta Medix, Mercy Hospital, Bamford Construction, US Foodservice/-Bevaco Division, Akzo Salt, Inc., PG Energy, and Pennsylvania Enterprises, Inc.  Kerrie was responsible for the formation of a new corporate identity system for Northeastern Pennsylvania’s gas company, PG Energy, while it underwent a major restructuring process. She was instrumental in creating Mercy Hospital’s Continuum of Care program, which helped consolidate and streamline Mercy’s collateral materials to more effectively communicate with various audiences.

Several Big Fish Design awards include: the Northeastern Pennsylvania Ad Club, as well as ADDY awards for:  PEI’s Annual Report, Mercy Outpatient Center Billboard, Bevaco Foodservice Holiday Catalog, Mercy Stereotactic Radiosurgery Direct Marketing Campaign, and Bevaco Foodservice Catalog.  NEPA Awards of Excellence include: Mercy Continuum of Care brochures, Akzo Salt From our Mines to You brochure, PG Energy logo, and Intermountain Health Group logo.
